Snippets of My Life
I am a Gemini, 1979. I know what you are thinking. That is weird for a first intro. The thing is, we live in a world of software, where stuff is identified by its version. Like IIS 6.0, Apache 5.1 etc., So that's how I introduce myself these days.
By now, you must have guessed. I am a computer geek. I am not exaggerating when I say I have spent the last 10 years of my life (well, most of it), in-front of the computer. Yes, it used to drive my Mom crazy but she has come to accept it. I have been married for the last 3 years now, which means it will take a while for my wife, Sailaja, to accept my computer. With my Son, Vagmi, around things have started changing a li'l bit.

Family
Mom tells me about how they felt when I arrived; that they gave birth to the first of the next generation and that I was precious. Yes, I am the eldest of my cousins. With no kids around, it seems I enjoyed a lot of attention.
Over the next few years, there were additions to our family; My brother and cousins. Even as a kid, they used to look up to me. I did not realize then, that these are the people that I will be living my life with. I will introduce them to you in a while.
As a kid, I used to be fragile. Thanks to Grand Ma and Mom, I am what I am today. People who really make me proud about my family though, are Dad and Grand Pa. They are VERY rare. Life has been happening for me, for the last 2 years. I am married to a beautiful girl. It is a wonderful feeling to be cared-by and to care-for someone you love. We added Vagmi to our family. The feeling of being a dad, sure makes me feel old, but also puffs my chest up with pride.
Childhood
I wouldn't say I enjoyed the first few years of my life. Like I said, I was a fragile kid and if not for Grand Ma and Mom, I wouldn't be what I am today. Thank God, I don't remember much of it. But yeah, I was a tough kid by the time I was 7. By then, my younger brother, Vinay, joined me. We used to fight like we were the worst enemies on earth. Little did we realize that we were going to be the best of friends later on.

I went to St. Francis School in Machilipatnam. Infact I did my complete schooling there. To me, it is like... The World's Best School. It nurtured my interests in Science. At the age of 13, I saw my self building a small circuit that would make lights flash in a sequence. My early teenage was a world of LEDs, Resistors, Capacitors and D.C. Motors. No kidding. I have a strong bond with my school. There always is a longing in my heart to go visit it once.
Majors
Time flew by and before I knew it, I had to choose my majors for high school. I chose to major in Commerce and Economics. Got you there! Didn't I? A science student opting Arts. But yeah, that is the eccentric side of me. I am Gemini, remember? So one side of me is Science and the other side is Commerce. It has always been like that. Even today.
Though I did major in Commerce, I could not specialize in that field, which is important in India to establish a Career. If only I had more time. It made me realize "Life is too short". I decided to go back to what I was really good at. So I specialized in Computer Applications, and managed to make a career out of it.
