Back in December, 2007 one of my friends who was pursing his Masters in 'Information Technology' approached me to help him on a Paper Presentation. He was a bit confused on which topic to choose. I suggested him to present the paper on topic - iMonitoring (Intelligent Monitoring). In a nutshell it is a platform that ensures Service Availability; typically - Web Infrastructure. We named it iMonitoring because it is more than the traditional monitoring; Here, I am referring to the capability of the tool - both Identifying and Resolving the problem. Well, I will explain that in-detail in later sections of this write-up.
